Good Morning, from Virginia Beach

This photograph has had no editing to enhance the colors. I woke up bright and early, that means 5:30, (very early to me) to catch the sun as it was waking up. While trying to photograph a perfect sunrise I turned to my left and caught this scene instead. I really enjoy the composition of the image. The water line leads the eye throughout the image and the sky is a nice beautiful blue.

April showers brings May flowers

After a long debate, I have finally chosen this image to be my photo of the day. It appears beauty can be found anywhere, in this particular case, right outside my front door. This image reminds me of breezy spring days when the smell of newly opened flowers permeates the air.

Day at Monticello, Virginia

This trip was my first photo excursion of the summer. It was a beautiful day! The random sprinkles were not enough to deter me from snapping a few photos. The tour staff would not allow photography inside of the home, so instead, I took photos of the grounds. This photograph is my favorite shot of the day!
